Junior / Accounts Payable Specialist with German
 

An excellent opportunity has become available to join us as Junior Accounts Payable in Shared Services team.

The successful candidate should communicate in German at least B2, combined with communicative English, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than prior work experiences.

You will report directly to the AP manager and will be part of team of clerks within the AP department.  Monday to Friday, Hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Processing order-related and non-order-related invoices in SAP from various locations – verification of invoice details and supplier master data, VAT verification
• Clarification of any questionable invoice items (price/ quantity discrepancy, payment terms, accounting assignment, supplier master data etc.)
• Close cooperation with other departments (e.g. purchasing and finance department)
• Corresponding with suppliers and respond to inquiries (incl. reminders, statements, queries etc.)
• Processing of T&E reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced German (at least B2) and communicative English language skills (B1)
• Preferred min 1 year of experience in accounting
• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed
• Experience with accounting software (SAP FI) preferred
• Other languages will be an advantage
